MEET THE MAKER

Maria is the artist behind Heart Headed Designs.

She specializes in slow-crafted and unique statement jewelry.  Each item is created by combining metalsmithing techniques with beadwork. Her deep-rooted love of nature reaches back to her childhood spent exploring rural North Carolina and serves as her biggest inspiration. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from UNC-Wilmington, and has experience with sculpture, fiber arts, and printmaking.
